Is My Water Safe to Drink?

Many people ask the question, "Is My Water Safe to Drink?" This is not a simple question to answer, since drinking water can become contaminated from hundreds, if not thousands, of chemical and bacteriological parameters.

Yet, testing water for every possible contaminant would be costly and may not provide useful information on overall water quality and health risks. In many cases, government standards for acceptable levels for many potential parameters do not exist.

This is why we have developed the Priority 150 Water Test and feel that it is an excellent over all water quality screen. We perform water testing for parameters that are most often causes for concern. These include total coliform/E. coli bacteria, pesticides, PCBs, inorganic compounds such as nitrate and pH, and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC).

See the complete list of contaminants tested for with The Priority 150 Test.
